MadLab is a community space for people who want to do and make interesting stuff – a place for geeks, artists, designers, illustrators, hackers, tinkerers and innovators. They host learning group meet-ups, conferences, hack days and film screenings as well as special arts and technology-themed events.
They are currently offering a six month Digital Engagement Intern position. The successful candidate will assist in all aspects of MadLab’s digital delivery, including the MadLab digital shop and various workshops.
This paid internship has been created as part of the Creative Employment Programme. The Creative Employment Programme is an Arts Council England funded initiative designed to support the creation of traineeships, formal apprenticeships and paid internship opportunities in England for unemployed young people wishing to pursue a career in the arts and cultural sector.
