We are looking for a Head of Theatres Programming to provide strategic direction for The Lowry’s award winning theatres programme, guiding it with a combination of artistic ambition, creative flair and entrepreneurial and commercial acumen to meet both financial and organisational priorities.
You will manage and supervise the work of the programming team in all aspects of delivering the theatres programme including scheduling and the negotiation and drafting of contracts. The successful candidate will be required to lead on all matters of budgeting, accounting, business planning, reporting, monitoring and evaluation of the theatres programme.
The ideal candidate will have artistic vision and creative flair in combination with entrepreneurial skills and commercial nous. In depth knowledge of theUKand international performing arts world and of the commercial sector is essential. The successful candidate will also have senior programming and management experience in a large commercial theatre, producing organisation or major performing arts venue or festival.
