Message from Žarko is a performance by Kámoši youth project produced by Community Arts North West in partnership with Wigan Council’s Voice & Engagement Team.

An event which celebrates International Roma Day on Monday 8 April.

Inspired by Djelem Djelem the Roma national anthem written by Žarko Jovanović.

An evening of MCing, beat-boxing, dance, rap, drama, poetry, music, digital media and more…

Created by young people, aged 12-18, in Leigh from Roma, Slovak, Czec, Polish and African communities.

Created through workshops with artists Kooj Chuhan (lead artist), Saquib Chowdhury, Hannah Russell, Dahlia Francis and Lis Murphy.
